Dr. Yu Shan (Wendy) Zhang is a family doctor whose practice includes a combination of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospital medicine. Dr. Zhang completed her undergraduate degree in Integrated Sciences at the University of British Columbia, medical school at McMaster University, and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa. She has completed acupuncture training through the McMaster Medical Acupuncture Program, Acupuncture Canada, and the Precision Acupuncture course with Professor Dong.
Having grown up in a family that utilizes both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine, Dr. Zhang is interested in bridging the two fields to help patients optimize their health and prevent disease.
